STERLING, VIRGINIA – WFN Strategies has gained international recognition for its quality management system.
The world’s first submarine cable implementation company to achieve certification, Submarine cable system implementation company WFN Strategies has requalified its accredited certification to the ISO 9001 international standard for quality management.
“WFN Strategies is pleased to continue to be the first submarine cable implementation organization to achieve compliance to the ISO 9001 standard, as well as requalify for such an achievement,” said Managing Director Wayne Nielsen. “Internationally certified, world-class corporate governance is one of our hallmarks, and we remain committed to upholding the highest standards of governance and transparency.”
ISO 9001 is a quality management standard that was developed by the International Organization for Standardization – an association of governmental and nongovernmental organizations from many countries. The ISO 9001 standard is utilized to certify quality management systems that focus on continuous improvement, customer satisfaction and the active involvement of both management and employees in a process-based approach.
“We are thrilled,” Nielsen said. “Through this recertification, WFN Strategies can continue providing the highest standard for quality assurance to our clients.”
The ISO 9001 standard features a high-level structure: including terms, definitions, headings and text common to all management system standards in accordance to ISO Annex SL, allowing easier integration when implementing multiple management systems. The standard improves over previous revisions by requiring organizations to prioritize business needs, improving efficiency by implementing organizational-wide risk-based thinking, better risk management, and enhanced leadership responsibility.
