Client Representation

Accredited Client Representation System

International Standards of Quality

We provide Subject Matter Experts for terrestrial and marine operations including documentation review, site surveys, marine surveys, system installations, repairs, Commissioning & Acceptance, spares testing and burial-assessment surveys. All WFN personnel are supported by our accredited management systems:

  • ISO 9001:2015 Quality
  • ISO 14001:2015 Environmental
  • ISO 27001:2013 Information Security
  • ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health and Safety

The PM 2.0 Advantage

Our client representatives are trained to provide operational oversight using templated daily progress reporting, which are delivered via our ArcGIS-based PM 2.0 dashboard for uploading, retrieving, storing, and cataloging relevant project-related documentation.

Client representatives are responsible for:

  • Attending mobilization of vessels
  • Assessing the suitability and value of marine vessels for applicable operations
  • Assigning expert personnel to specific operations (i.e., geotechnical experts for survey operations)
  • Supervise operations

Working for You

Client representatives provide an independent appraisal to the purchaser of the in-field operations. They designate issues and incidents that impede progress or are situations that exist outside of the planned operations. Our PM 2.0 dashboard then highlights incidents and issues accordingly.

Backed by a team of engineering, logistics and operational staff, client representative duties include:

  • Inspecting work
  • Ensuring specifications and Procedures
  • Witnessing installation testing
  • Confirm the validity of supplier reporting
  • Managing changes to planned procedures, or conflict

Digital Oversight

Client representatives highlight daily issues and incidents related to project operational phases, such as vessel and equipment delays, permitting problems, commercial fishing vessel interactions and weather-related problems, which are presented directly on dynamic computer maps; thus, ensuring the successful implementation of our client’s submarine cable.

This article by Hector Hernandez and Glenn Hovermale in Issue 125 of the SubTel Forum magazine provides an even more in-depth look at how WFN Strategies approaches Client Representation.
